  1. The Matches first album, E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals (title comes from the man who made them change their name from The Locals to The Matches), is a modest pop-punk album. It's lyrics are well written and well sung, if not very deep/5(44).

  3. May 11,  · Adding some "Whoa's" and "Ooh's" to already catchy lyrics designs one of the standouts on E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals. The other extra tune, "More Than Local Boys" declares just what the band has become with a chorus that surges like an 80's pop song.7/
  4. I have a Zappa's Chunga's Revenge which I bought recently. The record looks clean, but sounds really scratchy and poppy when played. I've dusted it and used some Clear Groove Record Cleaner. I'd appreciate thoughts on how to improve the sound or is it just a duff record?
  5. Jul 31,  · Re: Trick for fixing a scratched record Post by Brianev» Hi, thanks for the info, I have seen it done with a stylus cleaning brush as well, not sure which is the better, but, you can at least drop the ice into a very large G&T afterwards.

  7. about Here it is.E Von Dahl Killed The Locals Live. After 9 Sold out shows, we couldn't leave without recording it! It was recorded at @thetroubadour and is the album from front to back, five encore tracks from Decomposer & A Band In Hope and closing it out with Superman.
  8. O.k I recieved some words of wisdom form djnumatik and decided to give this a go. I will start by saying that the record no longer jumps and has less clicking before the actual jump. The biggest problem with this case was that the scratch was right on the fade out of the song so unfortunatly there is some sound due to the music being to quiet to cover the damage.
